In2Rail objective is to design a future AC Rail Power Supply System with minimised energy losses and optimized loads and implement an efficient energy management system allowing understanding of energy flows within a railway system, a reduction of the energy consumption and cost.

In In2Rail we are developing an accurate power monitoring of important train components by collecting power measurements through a dedicated sensor network, by offloading them to train-side points and finally uploading them to a central server. We are also responsible for guaranteeing synchronization of measurements.
